Cleanroom Sprinkler Cover Assembly

Viking Cleanroom Cover Assemblies are low-profile covers intended for use in cleanroom environments with Viking Mirage® Quick Response Concealed Pendent Sprinkler VK462 and MRI Sprinkler VK462. The silicone cover gasket is pre-assembled with the concealed cover for an acceptable sprinkler seal for use in a cleanroom or clean zone. The cover assembly is installed flush with the ceiling to provide a smooth appearance, and is available in several standard decorative finishes to meet design requirements.

The new stainless steel cover plates can be used with standard brass models, however, combining them with ENT plated concealed sprinklers creates an enhanced concealed sprinkler assembly providing an even higher level of overall resistance to corrosion. This assembly is well-suited for many applications where corrosion is a possible concern, such as food and pharmaceutical processing, food service areas, industrial wash down areas, parking garages, saunas, locker rooms, and sprinkler system installations near the ocean.

Stainless steel cover plates for Models VK462 and VK538 are available in both 135°F and 165°F temperature ratings. The VK494 stainless steel cover plate is available in 135°F only.
